2018

Brintons Australia collaborates with the incredible design talent Studio Elke to create an evocative inspirational design collection, Composite.

2017

Brintons Carpets Ltd acquired by Argand Partners LP from the Carlyle Group

2016

Brintons launches a series of videos to explore the journey of our carpets from fleece to floor.

2015

Brintons acquires F.D Agnella, the Polish-based manufacturer and supplier of high quality carpets and rugs.

Britain’s biggest ever cruise ship, the £473 million P&O Britannia, officially named by Her Majesty The Queen, features over 21,000 sqm of custom Axminster carpet manufactured by Brintons

2014

Brintons appoints new CEO Duccio Baldi

2011

Brintons is acquired by The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager.

Brintons supplies carpet to the newly-opened St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, the location used in their 1999 brand campaign.

Brintons launches its first High Definition Weave Collection, to be woven on its latest patented looms.

2007

Brintons launch their Residential "Seasons by Brintons" advertising campaign.

2003

Brintons launched its "most luxurious carpets in the world campaign", this time working with renowned shoe designer Manolo Blahnik. The campaign was shortlisted for awards by House Beautiful magazine and the Periodical Publishers Association in 2005.

Brintons acquisition of Woodward Grosvenor

2001

Brintons is awarded the "Manufacturing Excellence Award" (MX2001), beating competition from British Aerospace and Jaguar. The success is recognition of the tremendous progress made by the company in the areas of customer focus, product and process innovation, as well as the efficient use of resources.

1999

The "Some things in life wear better than others" campaign is launched, shot on location at the derelict St Pancras Chambers Hotel, with dresses by Anthony Price.

1993

Brintons launch their first advertising campaign for which Vivienne Westwood designed a series of iconic carpet dresses.

1965

The iconic Bell Twist series is launched

1958

The Royal Warrant is granted to Brintons in recognition of supplying carpets to Royal residences.

1933

Brintons celebrates 150 years of their British made carpet (carpet supplied for Queen Mary).

1876

Brintons head office is built and opened in Exchange Street, Kidderminster.

1783

Brintons began manufacturing carpet in Kidderminster, UK.
