Why choose wool rich carpets?

Beautifully soft, luxurious, durable, comfortable and sound absorbing, a wool rich woven carpet is one of the most desirable flooring options available to pubs, clubs and gaming venues.

Wool is a super-fibre! It’s natural and renewable. It has a natural resistance to dirt. It’s also able to absorb indoor air contaminants to create cleaner breathing air. But not all wools are equal.

British Wool

We are the single largest user of British wool - the wool from one in nine British sheep is used in a Brintons carpet (source: British Wool). The bulk and resilience of British wool makes it ideally suited to the manufacture of high-performance commercial carpets. It is of low lustre and bounces back well after being compressed - ideal for carpet - enabling it to look good for longer.

Wool Hands

In the 1950s we pioneered the 80% wool, 20% nylon yarn blend - a luxurious, hard wearing mix of fibres that has become the industry standard for hospitality and gaming carpets. Our blend has the luxurious feel of wool, with 3-4 times the lifespan of wool alone.

The longer lifecycle of wool-rich woven carpets, combined with good maintenance, negates the need for frequent replacement. Not only does this offer a sound investment, it reduces waste, making it a sustainable choice.
