The renovation and expansion of Easts Leagues Club in Brisbane’s Southside has transformed the club into one of the most luxurious in the region. Subtle elegance was the creative brief and Easts and architects BSPN (previously Brand and Slater) have certainly achieved this through refined design treatment and the use of premium finishes.

BSPN specified Brintons to design and manufacture a suite of sophisticated, high performance patterned axminster carpets for the venue. Over 3,600m² of Brintons carpets grace the floors of the gaming, dining, auditorium and function areas of the venue.

The carpet patterning is chic - grand, celestial motifs rest on a shimmering tonal ground - to reflect the 5-star luxury of the venue. The palette is neutral, using earthy tones with the slightest suggestion of burgundy red to give warmth. Zoning is subtle. Brintons designers varied the scale of design, rather than the patterning or colour treatment, to ensure consistency and harmony throughout the venue.

Brintons provided a full complement of sampling to support the creative design and planning process, including design print outs, floor plans and woven trials.
